Is the head of the bolt stripped? If so I would recommend a stripped bolt-extractor tool available at Sears and similar tool stores. If the threads are stripped, it may take a tap and die set to repair the problem. I have the 1830 / 2230 workshop manual so let me know if you need diagrams.Do you find this valuable? |

Hi Mario,I pulled the workshop manual for the 1830 and there are no detailed diagrams of the muffler. If it isn't practical to use a tap and die set to repair the stripped threads, the muffler will have to be replaced. Best of luck! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
