Some BX models have the forward and reverse pedals widely spaced. If you find this inconvenient, you can try lifting the forward pedal instead of depressing the reverse pedal.
Sudden Stop in Reverse
(Applies to BX24 and others.) When in reverse, the tractor stops with a sudden jolt when you lift your foot off the pedal. This is normal, though undesirable. Various owners have complained about it on the TBN forums. Currently there is no cure offered by Kubota.
One suggested improvement (BX2350 and maybe others) is to locate the large spring under the right-hand side of the tractor, with an adjustment on it. If you back off on the adjustment, it should put less pressure on the linkage to return to neutral.
