Zerk Not Taking Grease[TBN] Zerk refuses to take grease

Broken Zerk
Use a tool such as an "easy out", zerk extractor or "grease fitting tool" to remove the remainder of the broken fitting. Like this Zee Line Grease Fitting Tool from Northern Tool. Turn counter-clockwise and be careful to avoid damaging the thread. New zerks are inexpensive.
