Brush Fork by Ground WorksThis is a featured page

This Brush Fork is made by Greg from Michigan who sells via his Ground Works eBay store. This is the 48" version. The "Buy it Now" price is $279 but auctions start at $250 so you might be lucky and get it at that price if nobody else is bidding.

Brush Fork for Ground Works There is a hole on each end-plate so you can tie down unwieldy loads or perhaps attach a home-made carryall.

Installed on a BX24. The fork clamps on easily (although any tooth bar must be removed).

The fork comes standard as 48", but if you have the LA240 Loader you should discuss with Greg a custom size a couple of inches shorter to allow an "inside fit". Having the full 48" presents an overlap which can snag on trees when reversing. Also the protrusion at the end of Kubota's cutting edge causes a gap between it and the fork's cross-member. This did not cause me any problems during use but an "inside fit" would just be a tad more secure.

The build quality seems to be sturdy. Greg estimated the lift capacity as 1000 lbs, which is more than a BX machine would be trying to lift.

The fork is useful for forest floor debris. I'm also hoping to build a carryall that can sit on the fork.
