I just bought a BX2360 with fel and box/scraper (it will be delivered sometime this week). I have done some research and I can't find the overall measurements with the attachments. I did find the overall measurement of the tractor itself but that was it. Does anyone have this information available or know where I can find it. I am needing this information to make sure I do not have to modify my barn before delivery.
Thanks for your help

Anyone using a disc harrow with their BX tractor? I had a 4 footer made and it works good when the gangs are adjusted to their setting that cuts least aggressively. However if I set the gangs on the disc to cut the most aggressively, the tractor seems to be laboring and it makes a more pronounced whining in the transmission, but still cuts nicely. Is this too much for my BX2230, or is it safe to do light disc harrowing for my wildlife food plots and garden. I comprimised and set it for a medium cut, but don't want to damage a transmission or anything.

I pull a Farmpride 48" harrow with my BX-24 without too much difficulty. I have hard ground, so I'm going to have to weight it next year so that I don't have to make so many passes.
I keep the tractor in low and let it go...

Yes the fan can be replaced , it takes 3 hands to do it , put fan on spline first then have someone hold the part the fan bolts to on the spline , it takes some doing but you then bolt the fan to the part it goes to , we used a small mirror to aline the bolt holes , took awhile but it is on .

Hi cookstove. Thanks. Actually there's already a link to tractorsmart and some other online suppliers on the Parts Suppliers page. http://www.bxtractors.info/page/Parts+and+ManualsI guess I need to make it a bit easier to find the Parts page in the menu, although another way to find things on this site is to just type the word into the "Search this site" box at the top left. regards, Andy

Here are some cool videos of taking the implements on and off. Is there a good place to post them here?

Yes - I've embedded two of them on the Backhoe page. I will put the other on the loader page, then I will also link to all of them on the Videos page. Thanks - and let us know when you have some more.

RE: FEL lever linkage greasing

I have a Bx 2230 with a LA 211 loader. My valve stays with the loader when it is detached from the tractor. I have had it apart to adjust the linkage, and I didn't see any grease zerts. I think you just put a dab of grease on the ball mechanism for the six way valve. Under the lever assembly you will see a bolts to remove the plastic cover. I have read the manual in detail, and it doesn't detail how to do this.

I am considering purchasing a new bx 24 I'm on 5 acres of hilly ground part of which I am growing olive tree's ,citrus and fruit and nut tree's. I was going to spec it out with Bush Hog SQ142 Rotary Cutter,60" landpride Rear Blade RB548, Landpride Landscape Rake LR0560 54" mid mount mower. On the FEL I was considering putting on a tooth bar FTB to suit by W.R Long. Can the tooth bar be taken off when you are not using the FEL for digging? Would you substitute the tooth bar with the W.R Long Wear bar for general use,I'm assuming that they would share the same holes on the FEL.
A suggestion was made that I put on a Rankin thumb to the BH I was a little concerned that they would have to weld it on to prevent slipage but if I needed to get it off at some stage this would be a problem . Does anyone have any experience with this thumb how does it compare to the Bro-Tek? in quality , strengh etc. Has anybody had slippage with this thumb?
I had a look at the Bro-Tek web site and was impressed with the rear and front skid plates due to the fact that I seem to have rocks that grow out of the ground , has anybody who has fitted the rear skid had any conflict when putting on there Mid Mount Mower.
Bro-tek,s ripper and trenching plow look quite good if anybody has purchased these items could they tell me if they are happy with these items ?
